What will I be doing?

As a Harris Ambassador, you'll engage with prospective and current students, collaborate as content creators and participate in campus outreach. Together, you will enhance the current and next generation students in Harris College by fostering community and supporting a vibrant and inclusive college experience.

Actively engage with prospective students by sharing your own experiences and insights, and answer questions about academic programs, student life and support services. You will also participate in recruitment events, both in-person and virtually, and help create a welcoming environment for prospective students and their families. Through their dedication and passion, Harris Ambassadors play a crucial role in attracting and inspiring the next generation of students at TCU.

Foster a strong sense of community among current students in Harris College by serving as role models and leaders on campus, organizing events, activities and initiatives that enhance the student experience. You will provide support to your peers, helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. By promoting campus involvement and encouraging participation in college events, Harris Ambassadors play a key role in maintaining a vibrant and engaged student body.

Play a vital role in our social media, storytelling, content creation efforts. Ambassadors help craft authentic and engaging stories that highlight the college experience, from academic achievements to campus life. You'll help brainstorm and create content for various platforms, like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, working closely with our student marketing team. By sharing your personal journey and the stories of your peers, you'll help build a compelling narrative that attracts prospective students and keeps our Harris College and TCU community connected and informed.

Partner and collaborate with other organizations and departments on campus to enhance the overall student experience by co-hosting events and initiatives that benefit the entire college community. Through these collaborations, Ambassadors help bridge connections across campus, promote interdisciplinary engagement and ensure that students have access to diverse resources and opportunities. This collaborative spirit fosters a cohesive and supportive environment, enriching the college experience for all students at TCU.
