In a profession defined by compassion and resilience, the Nurses for Wellness Association (NFWA) at TCU shines as beacon of holistic care and resilience in the TCU Nursing community.

The “Aspects of Oncology” elective seeks to provide a holistic introduction to caring for a cancer patient, while also highlighting the unique challenges of being an oncology nurse and ways to maintain one’s own wellness while taking care of someone with a complex and terminal disease.

It is with great pride and honor that we announce the tenure, promotion and emeritus milestones achieved by 11 our esteemed faculty members. Their dedication, intellect and scholarly achievements have illuminated our University and enriched the academic community at large.

Harris College’s Discover TCU Nursing summer camp returns offering two sessions. This camp is open to high school juniors and seniors who are interested in learning what a career in nursing is really like. Campers also see what being a student at TCU could be like through its residential experience – an opportunity to live on-campus for five days.

This spring, Harris College seized a unique opportunity to form a collaborative partnership with Baylor Scott & White hospitals, Baylor University and the University of Texas at Arlington, uniting their efforts to revive the pre-pandemic “Perioperative Nursing” course through an intensive Maymester session.
